Life Book 41 // Jackson Griffith and “Beyond Expectations”

“You know we’ve all made mistakes but the mistakes are ultimately what define who you are you know if you if you can come out of them in a good place and learn and develop then you can’t regret the bad things too much because they develop your character”
Jackson Griffith is a man of many accomplishments. He has completed 74 marathons, several ultramarathons, and a 25-year career in the corporate world. But what is he chasing after all of this? In this episode 41 of the podcast, we explore Jackson’s life philosophy and his journey to finding purpose through his life book “Beyond Expectations” together with 3 chapters. We discuss his early days as a “lazy” and “unambitious” young man, his transformation into a successful businessman and athlete, and his current focus on spending time with his family and enjoying life.
Jackson emphasises the importance of focusing on the journey rather than the destination. He believes that it is more important to learn and grow from our challenges than it is to achieve our goals. He also believes that we should all strive to find purpose in our lives, and that this purpose can be found in the smallest of things.
So what are you chasing after? Are you chasing for the right purpose, or are you looking for something else in life? Listen to this episode to hear Jackson’s story and find inspiration for your own journey.
